Fiona & Peter - May 8th

Fiona & Peter were lucky to have a perfect 19 degree autumn day for their wedding. The two met up before the wedding for bridal party photos, which started out by the lake with a fun 'reveal'. We strolled around past some very Canberran landmarks before heading to the Boathouse by the Lake for the ceremony and reception. It would be safe to say the 'something old' for Fiona was her veil, which has been passed down and used for each wedding since her great-grandmother used it some 100 years ago! Congrats to the happy couple!

Janice & Bo bridal shoot

Janice & Bo have a very exciting few weeks coming up. They are getting married this weekend in Singapore, followed by a large wedding in Bo's homeland of China. They decided they wanted some western-style wedding photos, so they chose me and Canberra to do a 3-hour bridal shoot, and made the trip up from Melbourne. They were a joy to photograph and it was great to have so much time with them to create lots of beautiful images. Janice even managed a hairstyle change half way through thanks to her stylist cousin from Sydney. Here are a few faves from the day...

Cassandra & Dean - April 25th

Anzac Day was a fitting date to get married on for these two. Not only is this their first date anniversary (making their wedding anniversary a much easier date to remember), but it has a lot of family significance, as both of Cassandra’s grandfathers served in the Second World War.

The ceremony took place at the House of Reps Garden at Old Parliament House and the reception just across the road at The Lobby. It was a perfect autumn day and we were able to take advantage of the amazing colours at Commonwealth Park for bridal party photos and witnessed a fantastic sunset on the lake.

Dean secretly learned guitar to serenade Cassandra and really impressed with his efforts!
