Katherine & Michael - March 12th

After experiencing about a hundred weddings now as a photographer, I can say almost no wedding goes without at least a little hitch in the plans. In this case, the bride showed up to the church on time, but a bus full of guests got a bit lost and did not. But the guests eventually did make it and after circling the block, the bridal party made their entrance. Thank goodness for mobiles (aka cell phones for you non-Aussies) to make things easier. After that, everything did go smoothly though and it was a fantastic day. The ceremony took place at St. John's Church with the reception at the National Press Club. For our location photos we tried a unique venue where there were lots of reflections for me to play with. Congrats to the happy couple!

Michael won the prize for first sibling in his family to get married...

You have done an amazing job, Mark. Thanks so much.

I'm so glad you suggested the new gardens outside the National Gallery - I had no idea they were there (a bit sad - seeing as I work just across the road!). The shots there are all fantastic and you certainly have a great talent in creating beautiful images from the scenery.
